Car Guy from Hicksville NC says it is a 1938 or 39 Ford Truck any (1938 was the first year for the alligator hood and 39 was the last year for the free standing headlights.)
Dana Johnson from Mentone CA says it is a 1937-1945 Chevrolet pick up (My husband has a 36 Ford and the front fenders are nothing like this!!)

'38-'39 Ford truck headlights are same as '35 car. '35-'37 truck headlight buckets are shallower. '38 and '39 were the only years to have the 3-rib beltline)
