Kristaps from Riga Latvia says it is a 1957 Oldsmobile ambulance painted black like a hearse
Carolyn Coppinger from Everett WA says it is a 1957 Pontiac Combination Ambulance/Hearse (What you have here is probably a '57 Pontiac combination. It's definitely a '57, and I think it's a combo because of the roof light, which a straight hearse wouldn't have had. Funeral homes, especially in small towns, often used to provide the town's amb)
S. Michael from Wanamaker In says it is a 1957 Pontiac ambulance/hearse (cool streetrod project ,in a creepy sort of way ,looks straight too.candidate for Jesse James)
S. Michael from Wanamaker In says it is a 57 Pontiac old school SUV (could see it slammed or even up on a chevy suburban chasis. Oh the possibilities!)

elias from lillooet bc says it is a 1957 Pontiac hearse (my cousin needs one like is)
Martin Harvey from Montreal Qc, Canada says it is a 1957 Pontiac Combination (It's a '57 pontiac hearse/ambulance, probably converted by Superior Co.)
Steve Loftin from Yukon OK says it is a 1957 Pontiac Superior ambulance (Because of the roof vent behind the beacon, she's probably an ex-US military ambulance.)
kk from buffalo ny says it is a 57 Pontiac wedding car (i'm not sure what they are called but they used to make a car that looks like hearse but it was used for weddings)
Skip Goulet from Midland/Odessa TX says it is a 1957 Pontiac Ambulance (Clearly an ex-military ambulance. Probably a Superior, but possibly a Natonal. Both built for the military. Car isn't black...looks more like an old Air Force ambulance.)
Jeremy Andert from Florissant Missouri says it is a 1959 Cadillac Hearse
Kendall from Nashville TN says it is a 1957 Pontiac ambulance/hearse (The light on top looks like an ambulance, but the black paint makes it look like a hearse)

Landon from Mount Carmel Tennessee says it is a 1957 Pontiac Starchief combination (Carolyn couldn't have said it better. It's definatley a 57. The 56 had a different grille and two chrome strips on the hood and I beleive in 58 they had 4 headlights.)
kevin downey from east haven conn says it is a 1957 Pontiac star chief ambulance (hearse did'nt have lights on top)
Lee Coulehan from Bakersfield CA says it is a 1957 Pontiac Superior Ambulance (Definitely a military ambulance. Only the government used the really crummy Federal Model "O" 4-way flasher on the roof and the tacky roof vents.)
